We design book covers from images, illustrations in our stock library, all owned by Lisa Loucks Christenson.

We don't accept images from other sources, so please don't send them to us and ask us to make a cover from them. I've been in the stock photograph industry for over 30 years, I've been a member of the ASMP for over 20 of these years. I take my copyrights seriously, and protect them .

Lisa owns 100% of the copyrights to her images, these rights are never sold or included in any license agreement, ever. All our models sign model releases, Every pet, animal, and location are model or property released. We don't use trademarks in our covers (unless we own them.) We work hard to make sure our covers don't come across as offensive, vulger or in-your-face, and we prefer to stick to family-friendly final images. We do, on occassion buy books that have covers from other authors, or publishers, and we've kept their original designs as part of their original look on any reprinting, or compiliations of previously published works, our views do not agree or endorse these covers, but have kept them to preserve the life of the work.

RIGHTS-MANAGED:

All our images are rights-managed. That means we don't sell royalty-free images with less than user-friendly terms. We know where our images are being used, for what period of time. I make it so easy for your publishing house, corporation, business, or for indie authors to use my covers for their books, on their websites, in their printed materials, and electronic editons, without the hassle of having to ask for additional licenses, however, I have two rules:

PHOTO SHOOTS: If we don't have the images on file, we offer photo sessions that we shoot, specifically for your image, or if we are in session on a self project, may include these extra details for no additiional fee.

MODELS:

We're always looking for new book cover models. Can you be a model? Go to a book store, look at some of the covers you see. Only you can decide this. I've worked with models for over 30 years. Do you know who our models are? Our models will be anyone we select. Are you our next model? Send us some head shots. All our people, pet, and location images must be model or property released, or we can't use you as a model.

CLIENTS:

We only allow our images to be used in G to PG13 rated books. We don't shoot or offer any adult situation covers, nor do we allow our youth models to be used with a negative portrayls of their image.
